Deleta Grandy
Family Law Lawyer
Deleta’s passion for family law began in Law School, when she was selected as Western Law’s Family Law Project Co-Ordinator, assisting self-represented litigants draft court materials and navigate the complex family law litigation process. She enrolled in advanced family law classes throughout her studies.
Following law school, Deleta articled at a prominent boutique family law firm and she has practiced exclusively family law since, including at her own firm, before joining the Morrison Williams team.
Deleta’s practice encompasses all areas of family law. She has wide-ranging experience representing clients in complex negotiations, and through mediation and arbitration processes.
Although Deleta strives to spare her clients the time and expense of litigation when possible, she is a strong advocate in the Courtroom, and has considerable experience representing clients at all stages of the family law process, through to trial. Deleta appears regularly before the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice and has assisted on multiple matters before the Ontario Court of Appeal.
Deleta strives to help her clients navigate one of the most challenging times in their lives, through to their next chapter, and prides herself on ensuring her clients are well informed every step of the way.
