Ajman is an Associate at Morrison Williams LLP who practices exclusively in the area of family law.
Before becoming a lawyer, Ajman was a licensed paralegal, starting her career in specialty legal clinics funded by Legal Aid Ontario. In that role, she worked closely with vulnerable individuals and communities, providing summary legal advice and helping them navigate challenging legal issues and access justice. She later transitioned to private practice, gaining valuable experience assisting with trial preparation and litigation.
During law school, Ajman received a fellowship award from the National General Counsel Network, which allowed her to work with one of Canada's largest owners and operators of seniors’ living. Working in-house for a public corporation allowed her to gain valuable experience supporting the legal team with contract review, compliance matters, and corporate governance.
She continued to expand her legal work experience and worked at a boutique family law firm, where she developed an appreciation for the intricacies of family law. This experience solidified her commitment to helping families through difficult transitions with a focus on practical solutions and client-centered representation.
Ajman applies her diverse experience to support clients in all aspects of family law, including separation, divorce, parenting arrangements, and support matters. She is committed to providing an empathetic approach to her casework since she recognizes each case's sensitive nature and the significant impact on individuals and families.
